A tip from the practice

A hint out of experience

Project phases

1.      Analysis / preliminary talk
What should the software do for your company?
Are there already concrete ideas or approaches that can be introduced?
Are there defaults (language, operating system, compiler, ...)?

2.      Feasibility study
Time estimation and quotation.

3.      Planning
grohs it consulting receives the specifications of the customer and
starts constructing the software architecture and implementation of the specifications.
First user interface(s) drafts.

4.      Synchronization
You will receive our specifications,
followed by a comparsion and if necessary implementation of last adjustments.

5.      Project start / development
The specifications are fixed and all adjustments are included.
Depending on your needs, especially for terms of several months, you will receive regular information on the state of the project.
Of course, we are also available for question between these fixed points.

6.      Release
Depending on the scope of the project, this phase can be subdivided into subareas.
So it can be that particularly complex developments are divided in alpha and / or beta releases
to be able to work out even the last subtleties in a test environment or the live system.
For the final introduction of the software you will receive a detailed documentation (PDF).

7.      Post-release
Even after project completion you will continue be supported by grohs it consulting, of course.

The individual phases are usually fluent and can be adapted as needed. At the start of the project, all important points should be discussed and introduced. Smaller changes / adjustments can certainly also be incorporated during the project, while larger ones usually require profound restructuring and would therefore be unprofitable due to the additional time and associated additional costs.

1.      New development
In this case, each individual detail can be released without compromise.

2.      Adaptation
Optimize existing structures.
Advantages: More effective architecture, resulting time and cost savings

3.      You know more possibilities?
Very nice, contact us and we will arrange a meeting.
